Polyurethane Grout

Our portfolio offers a wide range of specialty chemicals to solve complex issues such as dampness, heavy water ingress, structure leakage repair, and soil settlement with ultra fine cavities. While it is challenging to resolve all issues with one product, we provide flexibility, adaptation and customization to meet the specific needs of every project.

Common Uses of Polyurethane Grout

Polyurethane grout is often used for repairing and stabilizing concrete structures such as bridges, highways, and buildings. It can be injected into voids and cracks to fill and seal them, providing structural support and preventing further damage.

Polyurethane grout is often used for repairing and strengthening leaky concrete structures such as foundations, tunnels, basement, swimming pools, toilets and concrete roof.

Soil Stabilization

In construction and geotechnical engineering, polyurethane grout can be injected into sandl to improve its load-bearing capacity. This is particularly useful in heavy water ingress situations where the sand needs to be stabilized quickly  to prevent further settlement.

Waterproofing

Polyurethane grout is effective for waterproofing applications. It can be injected into concrete cracks, joints, and gaps within structures like basements, tunnels, and dams to create a watertight seal, preventing water infiltration.

Void Filling

The expansive properties of polyurethane grout make it suitable for void filling. It can be injected into empty spaces or voids beneath slabs, behind walls, or in abandoned utility lines to provide support and stability.

Optimizing Polyurethane Grout Application for Stability and Durability

When applying polyurethane grout for construction or geotechnical projects, proper execution is crucial. Begin with thorough surface preparation, cleaning, and removal of debris. During the injection process, carefully seal cracks from the bottom up, and fill voids starting at the lowest point. Allow sufficient time for expansion and curing, adhering to recommended timelines. To prevent shrinkage, avoid over-dilution, ensure proper surface saturation, and consider environmental factors like temperature and humidity. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and work in well-ventilated areas. Regularly inspect the application area during and after the process, and monitor stability over time.

By following these steps and precautions, you enhance the effectiveness of polyurethane grout, guaranteeing stability and durability in your project. Always refer to product-specific guidelines and consult with professionals for tailored recommendations.
